From N. California to Lamu Island, Kenya: A Story Of An African Immigrant.
Lamu or Lamu Town is a small town on Lamu Island, which in turn is a part of the Lamu Archipelago in Kenya. Situated on the northeast of Mombasa that ends at Mokowe Jetty, from where the sea channel has to be crossed to reach Lamu Island.
The owner of this restaurant lived in USA in California for years, and made his way back home on Lamu Island to create his own restaurant business.
